A Kuripe is a self-applicator pipe used to administer Hape's medicine. 

It is used after setting up a sacred space by taking a pea size amount of hape' powder from the container with a hape’ spoon. Scooping it onto the hand, the user then scoops the hape’ into the inside of the long end of a kuripe, placing the medicine over the heart, setting your prayer and intention. Then placing the long end up the left nostril and the short end into the mouth, and gently blowing through to release the powdered tobacco. The other side is then administered in the same way. Leaving the user grounded, clear and centered.
